Our Partners

Mission 10-X is founded in 2020 by the universities of Twente, Eindhoven, and Nijmegen - forming the TEN in Mission 10-X, and the University of Groningen has joined later.

The four universities have the perfect complementary expertise to address the challenges of energy-efficient IT in an integrated approach from a hardware, software and systems perspective. They encompass world-class research programs and facilities on nanotechnology and material science, physics, electrical engineering, computer science and data science. They collaborate with key partner-institutions and industries worldwide and act as knowledge hubs for the entire ecosystem, with a program base in the East and the South of the Netherlands, encompassing many stakeholders, from large industries to SME's, including educational institutions on various levels, coming from various places in the world.

University of Groningen (RUG)

The University of Groningen (RUG) is an internationally oriented university with a rich academic tradition. Since the establishment in 1614, the RUG has brought forward striving academics, like the first female student, the first Dutch astronaut and two Nobel prize winners. While rooted in the North of the Netherlands, the UG hosts students and staff from 120 different nationalities, with close to 30% of the total 37,000 students being international.
